I have the privilege of being in the cube next to Jason and can attest to his avid dedication to "Hawaiian shirt Friday's".  Sounds like committer "material" to me.

I've worked with Jason a fair bit on WTP and think that he would be a valuable member of the team.

[wtp-dev] Nomination of Jason Sholl as WTP committer

I'm happy to nominate Jason Sholl as a WTP committer after many large contributions to the WTP project.

Jason has contributed to the J2EE/common components for the past couple years, and has provided core leadership to many areas including J2EE Archive support,
Data model operation, and wizard frameworks, Module facet wizards/pages, J2EE binary refs, J2EE classpath containers... etc.... His knowledge of core WTP plugins is invaluable,

and would serve the project well as a committer.

Jason has numerous patches that show his continuing commitment to the project
