In general, we can move up when ever anyone requests it ... but ... it
always helps if someone has created a target with all the latest and
confirms all is generally ok, when all WTP source loaded in a workspace.
Anyone done that yet for recent Eclipse code?

1.
BTW, Neil and JPA team in particular, it would be help if you had some
time to investigate/keep up with the DTP/EMF issue. For example, if DTP
has "spec'd" their dependancies tightly, then that would prohibit them
working together. But if they've spec'd loosely, then they are claiming
they should work just fine together. :) From what I've heard, unless
anyone extends ECore, things should work fine.
An EMF 2.3 I-build should be ready by the end of this week, so, perhaps
you could take an "early peek" of DTP and EMF 2.3 working together?

2.
But ... speaking of ECore ... JEM actually extends ECore so we are
currently investigating implications of that.
Chuck .. I assume it'd fall in your area to investigate early versions of
EMF and JEM?

Thanks,

Re: [wtp-dev] WTP M4 Shutdown Plan

Nitin,

Good suggestion. I think we should update immediately after we declare
this week's I Build. I'll add that to the plan proposal for the meeting.

John, any chance we can update our build dependencies to a newer Eclipse
build *this* week? If we're going to produce our milestone candidate
build at the end of next week, more time building against M4 or even an
I-build more recent than M3 would be nice. Even switching it immediately
after we declare this week's build would be beneficial.
