Which is partially why I was asking ... if you have some fix, I hope
it's "pushed down" to the level it should be
at and not just worked around in your own Dali code.

That sounded like the work-around approach to me ... but, I admit, I
have not been following the technical details here, so I may just be
misreading what you are saying.
As far as I can tell, I'm pretty much just copying some API usage. I
didn't know what API to use; I found an example of some API to use in
ProjectResourceSetImpl; I copied its usage. Since we don't *know* we're
using a ProjectResourceSetImpl (even though we are), and since the "API"
there is private, I felt it was probably best to just use a similar API
call as done there.
