Seems like a good idea to me, especially since (I'm assuming) we wouldn't
have to make patch features for the two bugs just fixed, and the two bugs
remaining to be fixed.

The whole "2.0.3" release, though, would be available on the update site.

And, this just now made me realize there any be complications/extra
testing required to me sure the traditional "Update manager" site (for
2.0.x) and the new P2 software update site (for 3.0.x) can "coexist". I
know technically they can, But I mean if they can coexist without
confusing end-users. For example ... I do not know, just asking ... will
someone updating from 2.0.2 to 2.0.3 be also offered 3.0 updates, and
therefore possibly "breaking" their installation? Its unlikely to break
their install ... I'm just saying that will be some extra testing that
hopefully someone will volunteer to focus on or lead.

Assuming all this can be worked out, I'll begin taking some steps to set
up a build for "2.0.3", and, eventually, set up some test update sites.

Most of the fixes we have so far for the patches we've made are in the
R2_0_2_patches branch. (JPT I'm guessing used R1_0_2_patches?).
For most cases, I'll make sure the patches are merged with the maintenance
branch ... and open bugs if/when I need others to do some merging)..

Thanks,

[wtp-dev] Request for a WTP 2.0.3 maintenance release..

Hi,

As an adopter of WTP, Oracle would like to request a WTP 2.0.3 maintenance
release. This release will be limited to the bugs that have already been
fixed and have a patch on top of the WTP 2.0.2 release. I have drafted a
proposal with a scheduled GA of July 11. Please review and give your
feedback.
