I've been experimenting with the Athena Common Builder project and
creating a local build for XSL. I have managed to get this to work,
including running all unit tests, and generating appropriate P2 update
site information as well. I've documented my findings at:

It shows that Athena can handle building at least one of the WTP
components. There are some configuration concerns though with build
times, but I think these have to do with the way the current
configuration is setup and not the build it self. I've opened bug
286521 to see if I can help the Athena committers address the issues:
