Lance, subversion hasn't really caught on at Eclipse (though a few projects happily use it) and now GIT is considered "the future" at Eclipse (if not next generation).
But I can not imagine what led you to this mailing list to ask this question. You'll probably want to read some of the "new comer" type mailing lists/forums to learn more about Eclipse. http://www.eclipse.org/forums/ From: "Campbell, Lance" <[email protected]> To: "General discussion of project-wide or architectural issues." <[email protected]> Date: 05/21/2010 05:03 PM Subject: [wtp-dev] subversion Sent by: [email protected] I have heard through our campus IT server administrators that subversion is the next generation of CVS. I know CVS is offered by default by Eclipse. What about subversion? Any thoughts?
