I wouldn't suggest the JSDT JavaScript Editor just yet (as I think it is assumed I would), since its underlying parser does not treat a file solely containing JSON as a syntactically valid statement. Once the backlog of patches have been reviewed and applied, though, that may change. I can't speak for VJET, though, nor the JavaScript component offered by DLTK.
