Hi Nick, FYI, my smoke tests are in progress and I will update the results shortly.

I'll assume that means "my tests need to be changed to reflect the new reality, but I don't want the capabilities to come back." I will also assume that the 4 remaining question marks from various leads who haven't had time to smoke test (Neil, Keith) are NOT rejections, and will, unless I hear otherwise, push this build to simrel later today. For future reference I don't consider a question mark == no-go. No news == no found problems, therefore == go. You have until 2pm to refute my assumptions or state equivocally that this build is bad and should be excluded from the simrel aggregation for M2. After applied Shane's suggestion, I am able to create dynamic web projects/servlets. I will update the smoke test result page. Regards, Stephanie (Y.) I need a go/no-go decision from leads and PMC, please. Today is +2 day for the M2 build. Also, should we bring the capabilities [1] back? The WTP projects, preferences, perspectives are now hidden by default. You should see a show all button at the bottom of the new project wizard and there's another show all on the open perspective dialog. After creating a project or opening the Java EE perspective all WTP UI contributions will become visible. Subject: Re: [wtp-dev] Smoke Test Request for WTP 3.11.0 I-build 20180803074505 towards WTP 3.11.0 M2 Can you provide more details about the failure? What someone else could do to reproduce it, how you installed WTP, which Eclipse platform/SDK/JEE bundle you used (and version), what JDK you're using, etc. ? Better yet, can you report a bugzilla with these details and link to it from on this thread?
