Disclaimer: sorry if anybody took me as shouting when I wrote CAPS. I
was just highlighting a diff.

Zeljko, of course I was just thinking of the USA side of things. For
example Chacon wrote a ProGit book and gives it gratis however his
goal I believe is to make more users for GitHub so the book is a
'because' argument.

I was thinking of writing a book on Watir a while back too.
My idea was to set up a Book Website and ask people to pay money into
a pledge fund voting on what issues they wanted me to cover. Then I
could write few pages and examples about a particular issue people
wanted to cover
I think I could setup a git just like progit and use issues tracker
for people to vote on what should be written next.
It's a bit of a wild idea. So basically I would write a book and have
people sponsor chapters for it.

Another Disclaimer:
I donated to the Watir pledie and so can you http://pledgie.com/campaigns/2982
I also donated last year but I didn't see it shown on pledgie

Raising money for Watir features, frameworks and books, articles and
so on interests me.
