Ok, so I have a bit of egg on my face. Just yesterday I ran across some of my code where I used IE#text on a page checker. The reason I did this was because I don't really know what the page is going to look like and it's a really simple error message. However, even that specific instance would be pretty easily dealt with by iterating through the elements on the page and concatenating a big string.
