It was not an easy decision. I have asked here, got just one reply in a
week (from Bret) so I have concluded that neither you or Alister care about
being listed in Github team.

with the github team is that those are trusted members that are able to
contribute code and documentation. I'll plus myself one :) and cancel that
vote out.

I would be happy to add you back to the team if you plan to contribute code
in the near future.

Just to make it explicit, there is nothing personal here. I would just like
our sites to reflect the reality of the project. If somebody is no longer
active, we remove their access to code, sites, rubygems... If the person
becomes active again, gets all access back.

I would like to hear what others think about that.

One recent example. I have asked jetbrains to renew our rubymine license.
They said they did and that the new license would come in separate mail. I
have waited a few days, but I did not get the e-mail. I have asked could
they resend it, and they said they sent the message to Charley, since he
originally asked for the license (a few years ago). They checked watir
github account, saw Charley listed there and concluded that he is still
active member of the team so they have decided to sent the license to him.
True story.
