hey Jarmo, sadly I didn't have the opportunity to debug on the problematic machines and the problem was not present on my local computer.
however your suggestion about popup handling was the solution for our problem. somehow ie's default browser popup got enabled and we didn't handle it properly at our browser startup. thanks a lot for it!
