I often feel like I spend more time on the simple problems than the larger ones. My only guess is that you're not running the right files since your print statements aren't showing up. Get a second pair of eyes to look at it if you can, otherwise if anyone else on the list has suggestions? It's not easy to troubleshoot remotely. :)
