I'm not saying it's bad to be able to specify a frame ( I want x in y ) ... I'm saying, if you have more of a moving target, the ability to say I want x in whatever frame I can find it in ...
I wouldn't want things that way, but I know of some dev teams that just can't leave anything alone, so you've go a large problem with supporting a moving target. j.
