I got our developer to put an 'id' in. I got this to work in irb, but cannot get it to work in my script.
If I use ie.span(:id, 'submitted').flash The proper text will flash. When I use ie.span(:id, 'submitted').text Nothing is displayed. I'm a little baffled by this.
