ie.button(:name, 'save').click
works fine with the page that you sent. If this doesn't work for your app,
then there is something about your app that is different from the file you
sent.
When you say it 'doesn't work', are you getting an error message? What is it?
Send your complete script.

I dunno why click doesn't work.
You could try ie.form(:action, "adm_sdrinfo.php").submit as an alternative.
That should also work.
