Aha!  Thank you.  I now have a new page in the book to dog-ear!  I had checked the Ruby Library Reference (from p. 421 onwards) and couldn't find that info.  (I'm still working my way through the book.)

Thanks also for the interesting example comparing __FILE__ and $0.
