My advice would be to replace all mentions of the method with calls to assert_equal.

But some people who are conservative might prefer using the new method definition i provided below as it would require changing fewer files.

That's what Dave and I were kind of discussing.  I think the original
assert would pass if you compared [1,2,3] and [3,2,1], and would also
give you an error msg. if the arrays had different number of elements.
