The code I’m actually testing against uses both the script.aculo.us and rico libraries, so possibly I need to dig into rico a bit more. What I am surprised at is that I can actually identify the div (through the flash method) and the can see the first click working.

 

I’ve actually been digging about through the MSDN DOM documentation to see if I needed to adapt the script.

 

I’ll batter on with it until I get something working anyway- then wrap it up into a method. Interestingly, there is a lot of information out there on drag and drop, but really not as much on the ‘driving’ side.

 

Oh yeah- your script definitely still works against the page.
