See if you have any trouble with the HTML pasted in the reply up above.
with something like: ie.text_field(:id, /username/i).set('wtf')
It's likely my env. has issues (installing/uninstalling 1.4 and 1.5 gems
several times).
This would be a sufficient, simple test to determine if that is the case.
