Dear colleagues,

We'll be taking our first two non-paying customers to small claims court
next week. If they don't show up, I expect to move toward garnishment of
wages.

However, if they appear in court, mediation is the next step. My questions
center on development of an appropriate strategy going into mediation:

* How should I decide on the amount of the customer's balance that should I
settle for?

* Do I settle for just a lump sum?

* What's the maximum amount of time I should allow for payment of that
amount?

* Other advice?

Thanks,
Dave Washburn
