Jan,

I wonder if you would be willing to share more about the free check through CarFax.  Is this an option somewhere on the website, or is this an independently brokered arrangement with CarFax.  It sounds like it could be beneficial.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.

            Hi,

In Birmingham I have found through CarFax they offer a Free Check. We are not able to pay at this time/nor the agency. I have also found on borrower’s through Carfax where vehicles are under a RECALL,  and vehicles are serviced free of charge. It is helpful to me, and clients in the past have used this service themselves.

Greetings from Baton Rouge,

I would like to know if there are any sites subscribing monthly to CARFAX.  Although our clients are required to have their cars checked by a certified mechanic, are there any sites who are also running a carfax on these cars on a monthly basis?  If so, are you charging the client or is the agency paying?  Have you found this service to  be helpful?  Carfax charges $24.99 monthly for unlimited usage.

Your help or opinion would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Kandee Wickboldt
