Hello Ultimate Europe,

while the EUC in Copenhagen is in full swing and apparently running very smoothly, 45 European youth teams are getting packed to travel to Frankfurt.

The local TOC is already on site setting up the players' village, fields are being watered (please send us some of that Copenhagen rain, it is bone dry in Frankfurt!) and even a live stream is set up, for the 2 final days.

45 teams sets a new record mark. The defending champions from 2014 are NED (U17 girls) and GBR (U17 open); in U20 it is GER in both divisions, from EYUC 2013. But rosters change fast in youth ultimate, so we are excited to succeeds in this edition. But really, it is not just about the top level teams, but about great competition, SOTG and an overall great experience with outr beloved sport for a 1000 kids from 17 nations. This includes the volunteers, which again has many young persons from all over Europe.

The opening match is monday aug. 3rd at 6pm, U17 open GER vs. IRL.
Admission is free even to all showcase matches.
You can find the schedule and the system both as a pdf and also in the UC system at the tournament web site: http://eyuc2015.eu/

So, do feel invited to come by and watch top level youth ultimate. There will be amazingly hot action, but also plenty of new friendships developing. Most matches happen side by side, only pitches 13-16 are 2km away, with some shuttle service available.

If you cannot make it in person, the Live Stream by Playo friday and saturday Aug. 7&8 may be your option. All 4 finals will be streamed as well as some semis and quarters. It is available free of charge, but we ask for donations by the viewers. If you can, do contribute, to ensure that such streams are also possible in the future. If you are poor, just enjoy the matches!

Getting excited, and greetings to everyone in Copenhagen,

Chris
EUF youth committee chair
