competition for University sports teams. Whoever collects the most
number of followers on Spotify will win £10000 (about â¬12.700).
Glasgow University Ultimate entered, and are doing quite well!
Competition closes March 6th. With 6 days left, the leader-board looks
like...
1. Warwick Rowing Club = 2950 followers
2. Glasgow Ultimate Club = 2100
3. Bath Snowsports Club = 1000

HOW WILL THIS HELP ULTIMATE? -->
* for UK/European Ultimate --> Spotify and Asos want to get behind our
sport. Spotify called us to say they want us to win! In their words
"This is exactly the small sport success we want to advertise and why we
run the competition in the first place". They want to push Ultimate in
their marketing and that means our sport in mainstream spotlight. With
WUGC2016 in London, this is the perfect time to be pushing publicity
with bigger companies.
* for UK University Ultimate --> Athletic Unions across the UK
acknowledge the pull of Ultimate. That translates to better training
facilities, funding for coaches, and access to transport to
matches/tournaments.
* for Glasgow city Ultimate & Scottish Ultimate --> that large sum could
help push forward several development programs
* for Glasgow Uni Ultimate --> more time on the leadership board //
winning, would raise their profile with their Sports Union, helping them
access further funding & facilities to continue to grow their sport
