Hello Germany, I know most of your teams generally do really well in Spirit so this is probably a good message to send you: Saturday is International Spirit of the Game Day! And in case you didn't see it, there are two new and exciting developments:
A 24h worldwide game and a Worldwide Spirit Map. The 24 hour game simply means that we are trying to get people to organize 1-hour (beach) ultimate games to honor Spirit and get them to add the games to this spreadsheet [1]. We currently have games scheduled across the globe, from Sydney to Nairobi, Lisbon to Seattle. We hope you can help fill time slots so we can have a continuous Spirit of the Game (SOTG) game for the entire day! Almost more importantly, if players in participate in _any_ Spirit related activity this Saturday, we hope they will share photos, videos, and livecasts on the Event Facebook Page [2]. If they include the location on posts and the posts will magically appear on the new Worldwide Spirit Map [3]. Tweets with location and the #iSOTG hashtag will also be added to the Worldwide Spirit Map. Perfect for a Periscope of a Spirit Game :-) If a 1-hour ultimate game is not feasible, it would be great if people post other Spirit related events on the Facebook Event page. They can post geo-tagged videos of a fun game in a bar, selfies with SOTG icons/text on the photo, give a shout out to someone you know who is a very Spirited player, etc... Perhaps have people talk about "What does SOTG mean to them". Whatever works, and if people need idea they can always go to: www.spiritofthegameday.org [4].
