It's not exactly a track, but pretty close, and its track bikes with track rules.

Tonight is the first night of track racing as part of the Friday Night at the Track series presented by Iron City Bikes Racing and Pittsburgh Masters Velo Club. Registration @ 6 pm Races start @ 6:30 pm $10 race entry fee This week will include: . Introduction to pacelining-type things for beginners/warm-up . 2 lap TT to get some seed times . 4 lap flying start scratch race . 3 lap team pursuit (using the TT times to seed even teams) . 8 lap points race scoring 3 deep (3, 2, 1) every other lap This is all part of a 4 race omnium, scoring 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 per race. We may also be covering some other general knowledge stuff such as gear suggestions, safety, sprinting guidlines etc. Rain cancels track racing nights. Lightning cancels time trial racing nights. Other inclement weather may cancel or stop races at official's discretion. If you raced last week, PLEASE BRING YOUR NUMBER. We don't have enough to reissue new numbers each week.
