It's not exactly a track, but pretty close, and its track bikes with track
rules.

I didn't think to ask this forum if anyone wanted to go.

Subject: [ACA Google Group] friday night at the track

Hey everyone! Tonight is the first night of track racing as part of the
Friday Night at the Track series presented by Iron City Bikes Racing and
Pittsburgh Masters Velo Club.

Registration @ 6 pm

Races start @ 6:30 pm

$10 race entry fee

This week will include:

. Introduction to pacelining-type things for beginners/warm-up
. 2 lap TT to get some seed times
. 4 lap flying start scratch race
. 3 lap team pursuit (using the TT times to seed even teams)
. 8 lap points race scoring 3 deep (3, 2, 1) every other lap

This is all part of a 4 race omnium, scoring 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 per race.

We may also be covering some other general knowledge stuff such as gear
suggestions, safety, sprinting guidlines etc.

Rain cancels track racing nights. Lightning cancels time trial racing
nights. Other inclement weather may cancel or stop races at official's
discretion.

If you raced last week, PLEASE BRING YOUR NUMBER. We don't have enough to
reissue new numbers each week. Pin on the LEFT side for track races. RIGHT
side for TT races.

Please see http://www.fridaynighttrack.com/ for more info.

Come down to race or watch and hang out. Looks like we'll have good weather.
