Apparently the nut raking at Marilla tomorrow night has replaced the rail
trail CX training ride. So no training ride. Since we're assisting Marilla
in other ways, and there aren't enough rakes, we've not being asked to
assist with that.

Ya, Saturday after the race and Sunday during the races, no joke, need help.

1) Go on the Facebook page and like our jersey:

2) CX race:
We need people to volunteer, whether you are racing or not this weekend:
Friday:
1-4pm at Marilla to help mark.
Saturday:
During race: help score, sell WVU swag
After race: tear down course
evening until dark: set up at White Park
Sunday:
early: finish setting up course at White Park
during: registration, scoring
after: tear down course

This is compulsory volunteerism... yes, a purposeful oxymoron. We will
notice if you help. We will notice if you do NOT help. You don't
necessarily have to show up the whole time, but you do need to show up at
least one of the days if you intend to take advantage of any of our
sponsorship deals this year. You may get a free t-shirt or at least for
very cheap (ie at or below cost).

If you are intending to race and have a bikereg account with your USAC
license #, send your license # and race category to RYAN at
rpost...@gmail[dot]com. You can avoid the BikeReg fees that way.

If you have any questions, shoot it to this email account.

3) We are trying to coordinate a trip to Ray's Indoor MTB park on the
weekend of Dec 4. Keep that in mind.

4) Hincapie short re-order: In order for me to do this, I must receive at
least 10 sizes by next Friday. If you want some Hincapie shorts (which will
be in last year's design, but it's not that different, just doesn't say
'decade of domination' on the butt) email it to ME (*not* the forum) your
size.

Also, express sympathy to Brian Decann, he was hit by a car this past
weekend. He's ok, but his bike was destroyed and he is missing a lot of
skin in the arse area. Do yourself a favor and make sure you either ride
with someone else at all times, or carry ID with you in case anything should
ever happen. RoadID is a good example of something to get.

Ride on,
Emily
