Phil, right now you should focus on your aerobic base up more than anything, which you get pretty much from just time on the bike. When you ride, include sets of fast pedals, tempo, or isolated leg.
If you really want to talk about making a plan and workouts, I'd suggest scheduling a meeting with Kristen before the end of the semester.
