Why not just do it at the Law School? Traffic is slightly higher than UHS,
but it's much closer. We didn't have any trouble actually holding practice
crits until I left my chin up there one night. But even better, its closer
to the hospital too!

It's also pretty well lit for night riding.

There's a couple areas around Colleseum too, but they don't have obvious
racing lanes.

Subject: [WVU Cycling] Practice race next weekend

I would like to get everyone together next Saturday in an empty
parking lot (i vote the High School by Bakers) to have practice
crits. The plan would be to divide into two teams and have short
(15-20 minute) crits complete with simulated flats and/or FAKE crashes
where you have to practice taking a free lap. It would be a great
chance for everyone to remember what racing is like. Tentatively
looking at the weather it is going to snow next wed. then give us two
sunny days for the cars to move all the wet stuff to the side of the
roads. Who would be interested in doing this...we need good
participation of it will be really lame.
