It’s not that big of a deal. In the 4 years I went, you need only tell them the data( make/model/plate) to get on the list. I think they also check the driver at the gate license, but only idiots from NCSU travel without their ID right?
I can tell you, if you’re not on the list, it’s a long hike over the bridge from where you have to park.
Also, bring extra warm gear for that thing when you’re standing around. It’s always very windy and quite cold. Keep in mind, too, that the TT start is a fair piece from the parking lot.
