Had elections for president and vice president where I was
elected as new president and Sequoya Moore as VP. There was a
discussion about team debt and it was decided that all team debt will
be limited to $100. Once this limit is reached, you must pay your debt
before being able to participate in team orders or race weekends.
We will be participating in the April 15 Relay for Life in
conjunction with members of the Mon Bike Club (and anyone else who is
willing to participate). Our goal to to raise $1500 to donate. We plan
to sale baked goods at the Amity Training Race #2 as well as the
Morgantown Road Race to raise some of these funds. So if you have some
baking skills ( or your girlfriend has some baking skills......) then
please email Sequoya Moore and let her know what you would be able to
make and if you are able to help out. Also, Sequoya will be posting a
link shortly to our Relay for Life page where folks can make
donations. Donations can be made by check or cash as well by using one
of the envelope packets that Sequoya can give you if you like. If you
have anymore questions regarding the Relay for Life, please email
[email protected] with attn: Relay for Life as the subject.
Our race weekend is coming up on April 9th and 10th. There is
still some work that needs done and much of it will be in the week/
days before. Please try to keep your schedule open that Thursday and
Friday as we will be going down to sweep the course on one of these
days. On the morning of the crit, the 9th, all team members need to be
at Jackson's Square in downtown Clarksburg by 7 AM to setup. Also, we
will need 10-15 volunteers for Saturday and 6-8 for Sunday so if you
are not going to be racing on one, or both, of these days please be
available to help out (we will feed you!)
Duncan Oliver will be riding our road course this Saturday around
1:30. If anyone is interested in going please call/email/FB Duncan. I
am sure a post will surface in the next few hours from him regarding
this so you could just wait for that as well.
Finally, if you are interested in the parts order please speak to
John Zerbe and he will help you out as far as finding parts and
getting prices. This is a great deal and if you need anything bike
related ( or if you dont and just want to spend some money) you should
definitely get in on it.
If I left something out, please just post it below or under a new
discussion. See ya'll next week!
