Hey everyone,
My dad has been doing this ride for the past few years and he and the
2 guys he goes with are open to more riders. I think someone mentioned
that they would like to do it when he was talking about it down at the
Brew Pub. If you are interested, let me know and I can get you in
touch with him. Housing can most likely be provided, but be prepared
for a long day. I'm pretty sure they start at 5:30am and end at
12:00am the next morning. It is on the Greenbrier River Trail starting
in Caldwell, all the way up to Cass, and back. I could probably be the
emergency contact to pick people up for that weekend. They all do the
ride on mountain bikes and it is in no way competitive. If you're
interested, let me know. It's pretty much free except for the drive
down. Also, one date that has been mentioned is July 30.

Tell your biking buds that we will be doing the Caldwell-Cass-Caldwell
bike ride again this year. We are trying to schedule a date. They
need to be prepared for a 154 mile round trip that is totally
unsupported. They have to carry enough food and drink and supplies to
make it on their own. There are water pumps scattered along the trail
and a couple little stores. They also need to have someone they can
telephone for a ride should they have major problems.
