Racer - $125. Access to all sponsors, all race weekends. New for this season (and expected for the future), instead of charging for hotels and gas, a $40-50 flat race fee is charged for each weekend a racer participates in, and the team will take care of the rest (entry, gas, hotel). The more the team receives in fundraising, the lower we can make this fee. Essentially, we are asking each racer to cover a tank of gas. This should make the process easier for everyone, as the cost of racing is known *before* rather than *after.* Something I didn't mention at the meeting. In the past, drivers were reimbursed 50% of their gas debt for a given weekend. Obviously under this cost structure we cannot do this anymore. Thus, to provide a perk for drivers, the following credits are applied to your account to the following race weekends. NC State $25.00 Duke $23.14 Wake Forest $17.50 William & Mary $16.93 Virginia Tech $11.86 Navy $10.00 App State $17.79 These numbers are based on estimated round-trip mileage to each school, where the further the distance, the higher the credit. In total, $122.22 in credit can be earned for offering to drive. As mentioned at the meeting, if we fundraise well, and earn a profit this spring, the team will issue a refund / credit to racers based on season participation and fundraising efforts.
