Hey Crew
I am trying to finalize our East Coast USA Cycling Development camp.  The camp is for riders 14-22 who race mnt bikes and who are looking to get into the talent pipeline.  The deadline for registration is next week.  If you are interested please let me know asap AND if you know any young riders who might be interested, please pass this on to them.  They have to register by next week at the latest.  The ad for the camp is just below my signature.

I am also looking for a ride leader or two who wants to come get paid to ride their bike.  If you are interested, email me.

USA Cycling East Coast Devo Mountain Bike Camp June 24-29th in Deep Creek Lake, Maryland
HURRY - REGISTRATION CLOSING the week of June 4th!
We are very excited about the first ever East Coast Mountain Bike Camp USA Cycling Talent Development camp in Deep Creek Lake (McHenry), Maryland June 24-29.  We have a great experienced staff who have worked across the country at regional and national USAC talent camps. Our staff includes pro riders, professional coaches, and several individuals with advanced degrees in exercise and sport science fields. We will be doing a lot of on the bike skill work as well as talking about performance psychology, sports nutrition, bike mechanics, developing talent, and how cycling can be a key part of a lifetime plan for health and enjoyment. We are also in a fabulous East Coast area with lots of different trail opportunities.

USA Cycling has the camp details up at http://www.usacycling.org/regional-development-camps.htm
Registration information can be found there.  You must be a licensed USAC rider and you sign in to your  'MY USA Cycling account'  to see the camp and register.  (If you are not officially not eligible due to age or can not see the camp in your account send me an email with your license number and I will be able to approve you.)  Please register asap as we have to finalize our numbers within the week. Please call the camp director, Kristen Dieffenbach, on her cell phone directly at 301-697-1142 if you have any questions.

Also, there are opportunities for Travel and Training Grants through the USA Cycling Development Foundation - the link is a bit further down the page.  You can't apply for the grant until after you have applied for the camp.

Thanks and Happy Trails!
