from [MonBikeClub] Okie Dokie. Mondays, for a few weeks at least. That's tomorrow, 5:30 pm, at Marilla Park. This year I'm doing it a little different, once a week, one week building on the prior. This is *skills* training, not physical fitness training, hence why I'm doing it on Monday. Mondays and Fridays are rest days during the race season, capiche? Tomorrow's session will be what some might call "basic" or "rudimentary", but they are necessary skills. * What is CX? At a base level, we'll build on it. * Equipment considerations, bike fit. Ditto above. * The remount. * The ability to ride around on the side of the bike, on one pedal. * The dismount. * Picking up the bike. That might be it. Then practice, practice, practice. Slow at first, so you develop good habits. Pre-releasing is a good habit. So is not doing the double-step. And there you have it.
