But it's gonna be decent & warmer by the weekend! Yay!
And if you're one of the those folks that is complaining about the
lack of mud and crud, well where you this summer? I had my fill then.

Not a place that is unknown to the CX types at all.
First race was probably 1998 or 9, WVU kids and such.
Relive the glory year 2000 when Dave McKain, myself and the WVU were
also doing same (and the Balloon Festival CX race at the airport!
(prior to 9/11)) and while making the wood trails wider I dislocated
my shoulder (2nd time that year, twice a year since 1997...) right in
front of Steve Gergely and he didn't know what was going on as I
dropped to the ground and did my "thing" to get the shoulder back in.
That was also the reason that I didn't go CX Nats that year, first
time since my first Nats in 1994. :( #memories #truestory
Also, let's not forget the stunning U-turn skid-turn sprint where I
snatched the SS victory from my friend Gerry two years ago...
