I have noticed that my Kyocera KPC650 doesn't hangup when I kill pppd. I have also found out that the preferred method to disconnect is to deassert DTR instead of using the +++ escape sequence to issue an ATH. Could usbsacm have something to do with the lack of disconnection or would DTR reset be a responsibility of the USB OHCI driver or the cardbus below it?
