Part of the problem here is the "CD' does not appear like it does in Ubuntu. In 
Ubuntu I can unmount it then run wvdial. I am wondering if I need to "mount" 
the "cd" then "unmount" it. 

Again it appears twice in the Device Driver Utility as an "sd" CDROM
