Hi!

Despite trying very hard to get my 3G USB HSDPA modem to work with the Open
Solaris 2009.06 I had to eventually put my hands down and admit that I just
can't do it. I've been reading these forums, other forums and tried and
modified many different configurations that have been reported working with
some other 3G USB modem brands.

My 3G USB HSDPA modem stick is:
Option Icon 225 (GlobeTrotter) 3G USB HSDPA modem

It is a 3G modem/storage combo. Storage side has Windows drivers and it
auto-launches the installer if inserted into Windows computer.

It works with Ubuntu Linux and when I check the settings in Ubuntu I can see
that it's using these settings:

Number: *99#
Username: guest
Password: guest
APN: internet

One kind Open Solaris user named Ken Mays suggested I run one command to
display more info.

Here is the output of the command run on 2009.06 Open Solaris:

root at freedom:~# echo ::prtusb | mdb -k
