UNITY WITH BLACK STRUGGLE

Activists rallied at Roxbury Community College in Boston on Feb. 22 to "Make
February Black Protest for Peace Month." The program featured Larry Holmes, a
spokesperson for the International ANSWER coalition.

Speakers also included Boston City Councilor Chuck Turner; Nation of Islam
Minister Don Muhammad; Dorothea Peacock of the Women's Fightback Network; Carl
Jackson, a student leader from Tufts University; Robert Traynham, a Boston
school bus driver from Steel Workers' Local 8751; and Earlene Salley from
Boston ANSWER.

Solidarity messages to this struggle were delivered by Marta Rodriguez, Puerto
Rican activist and singer; Mahtowin Munro of United American Indians of New
England; and Amer Jubran of the New England Committee to Defend Palestine.
