LOS ANGELES: "U.S., FRANCE OUT OF HAITI"
A spirited event in Los Angeles on May 18 called on the U.S. and France to get out of Haiti. The protest, organized by the Coalition in Solidarity with Haiti, was held at the Federal Building to commemorate Haitian Flag Day.
>TransAfrica Forum called for May 18 to be a national day of action for Haiti and asked other organizations to sponsor events around the nation. The International Action Center participated in the demonstration.
