Hi, This is a QA Review comment for "XHTML 2.0" http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/WD-xhtml2-20060726/ 2006-07-26 8th WD
About http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/WD-xhtml2-20060726/mod-text.html#sec_9.7. the name is prone to typos and mistakes, very close from the character "1". There is certainly a need for compacity, but that might cause troubles to number of developers. The behaviour of the element is not explained. is it like a "span" element? or a span with a line break in the end? Being an inline element it's certainly the first case, but some developers might rush and implement an notion of line with a carriage return. A warning would be helpful. -- Karl Dubost - http://www.w3.org/People/karl/ W3C Conformance Manager, QA Activity Lead QA Weblog - http://www.w3.org/QA/ *** Be Strict To Be Cool ***
