This is an archaism of HTML. The language has been designed in a 
scientific/engineering community and still carries odd elements with a very 
narrow usage for most of the people.

Define a "computing" role attribute module for these elements and remove them 
from the language. It will give more flexibility for authors and the semantics 
could be enlarged. It would also remove the constraints on semantics redundancy 
due to the choice of block/inline model.
