Hello to all.

I'm using wwwoffle as a http-proxy for the school "Hohe Landesschule Hanau"
in combination
with a cisco router.

I discovered the following ftp-problem. F.e. after connecting to ftp-site
"ftp://ftp.heise.de"
wwwoffle displays a directory listing with some links to subdirectories.
Clicking on
the subdirectory "pub" wwwoffle displays the message:

*************
                                    Your request for URL
                                   ftp://ftp.heise.de/pub
is a directory, this requires a '/' on the end like the following link
ftp://ftp.heise.de/pub/.

*************

The subdirectory will be listed when I add a point to the URL
"ftp://ftp.heise.de/pub/."
but not without this point.

The above mentioned URLs are only samples. This error seems to be a general
ftp-problem.
But I couldn't clearly pointed out that this behaviour is caused by
wwwoffle.

And now my question:

Is this a well known bug or is wwwoffle working fine?

I would be appreciate to hear from anybody soon.

Best regards

Hans Jrg
