I would need at least a stack dump to say anything about this.
It looks like a MAC specific implementation of wxDc, is causing this.
When does it happen?

wxWidgets i would say.

oke. I myself never use shared, but if that works for you that is fine.
Still with the template problems, i would strongly advice you to not use 
shared. They are a typical source of problems.
For MAC do you use dll like things or is all the Unix way of thinking??

I am a bit confused on how wxWidgets on a Mac does works.  Maybe you can 
explain  it a bit?
