In that case i think you should talk to him, since this can not be right on Linux i think. wxWidgest builds using configure/make/make install.
Next everyone uses wx-config on linux to get all the info about what is where.
And this is all in the naming of the libraries etc. etc. So one can have unicode/debug/release mix of libraries all installed, and still be able to choose one. Even on windows this all organized well, but not like the Dialogblocks way i am sure.

But Julian knows all this very well, and i am suprized Dialogblocks does it all different. So i think you should ask him if you are doing it the right way.

It is impossible for me to make exceptions for each type of tool.
