I checked it on Ubuntu with 2.9.4, and it compiles well. Never tried Debian. What version of gcc are you using? Maybe it is to old?? The errors are not obvious to me. Did you remove all wxArt2D and check out again, after you tried first with 2.8? Or is there still something left from that first compile? If this does not help, try Ubuntu, and if you succeed there, as i do. If that works, obvious Debian has issues, and need to be fixed.
