sorry - my fault.
The problem is that IIRC there was some mess about the right protocol to use. E.g. I remember that :ext: was not working with some TortoiseCVS releases. I've update maintainer guide anyway.

Just one more question if i may:
why do i need to type my password 1000000 times when adding files?, is there a way to avoid this?
yes, you can avoid it creating an SSH key you can use the Putty suite.

for generating the key. After you've generated it, you must run pageant (part of putty suite) with that key loaded in and it will magically handle all password requests automatically ;)
