Hi, guys. I'm currently working to convert all of Mandriva to wxgtk 2.8 rather than 2.6. wxhaskell is just about the last wxgtk 2.6 piece. :)
I read via the wiki that 0.11.0 seems not only to claim to support 2.8, but to more or less require it: "wxHaskell 0.11.x supports wxWidgets 2.8. And wxHaskell doesn't support wxWidgets 2.6 any more." However, when I build 0.11.0 against wxgtk 2.8, then try to run any of the example programs in the source tree as described on the building wiki page, I get the exact symptoms described here: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=536845&aid=1924535&group_id=73133 i.e. three console messages and then nothing - no output. I've tested with both unicode and non-unicode wx 2.8 - doesn't make any difference. Both fail. Is this known?
