I think now is then a good moment to wrap things up for a release, that is, 
make a branch for it, check whether everything still works on all available 
platforms, and at least get a (relatively) stable version on hackage. After 
that we can try to reconstruct the GHCi problem and/or see whether GHC 7.8 
(automatically) solves this problem.
